Jameela Al Muhairi

	Jameela Al Muhairi has spent her entire professional life working in education in the United Arab Emirates. A graduate in Management from UAE University in Al Ain, Jameela spent a number of years working with the Ministry of Education. Following the Ministry, she worked as Director for Dubai Knowledge. Jameela joined the Knowledge and Human Development Authority when it was established in 2006 from the Dubai Education Council where she was a member of the Council with responsibility for advising on private education in Dubai. Jameela’s experience working with private schools in Dubai means she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the role of Chief, which she will be employing across all schools in Dubai, public and private, in this new role.
For more than ten years Jameela has spent her professional career studying quality assurance schemes around the world and she will bring all of this experience to bear in her new role as she develops a world-class inspection bureau for Dubai. "I am delighted to be able to contribute so significantly to the development of education in Dubai by leading the new Dubai Schools Inspection Bureau," said Jameela. "Through the Bureau myself and my team aim to provide parents in Dubai with choice – a choice of schools delivering the highest standards and providing quality education for all children."
