Dubai, April 18, 2012-A pre-GETEX forum focusing on business opportunities for higher education providers will be held at the Dubai School of Government on April 18. Organised by the Dubai School of Government, Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) and GETEX organisers International Conferences and Exhibitions, the meeting will centre on trends and growth prospects for institutions planning to establish a branch campus in the emirate.
Mohammed Darwish, chief of Regulation and Compliance Commission at KHDA will outline the higher education landscape in Dubai and explain how the sector is regulated. Dr Ayoub Kazim, managing director of the education cluster at TECOM Investments, will speak about establishing a presence in Dubai, while Anselm Godinho, managing director of International Conferences and Exhibitions will advise institutions on how to use Dubai’s strategic location as a marketing tool. Mariam Al Afridi, director of the exporter services department at Dubai Exports will discuss the export services available to higher education bodies.
