EDAAD
EDAAD is a scholarship program under the KHDA offering opportunities to UAE Nationals who have demonstrated leadership potential and strong academic achievements, to pursue Post Graduate education in the world’s top universities. EDAAD aims to create a cadre of highly qualified employees to take a lead in Dubai’s knowledge driven economy.

Emirates Nationals Development Programme (ENDP)
ENDP was established as per the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, with the objective of increasing the presence of UAE Nationals in all the sectors of the economy - especially the private sector.

HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum IT Education Project (ITEP)
ITEP was initiated in the year 2000 by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum as part of his inspirational educational strategy to create the UAE Knowledge Economy. At inception, ITEP began teaching IT in schools. Following the success of the schools project, ITEP extended its operations to support the UAE government’s e-government initiative by providing IT training programs to government departments.

National Institute for Vocational Education (NIVE)
NIVE is an initiative under KHDA that was established to provide world class vocational education, benchmarked according to professional standards of the selected industries to support the ongoing growth of the UAE and the region. It arms students with opportunities to gain specific job competencies geared towards enhancing their employability. NIVE is autonomously managed and wholly owned by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority.

Tamkeen
An initiative under the KHDA, Tamkeen is a non-profit entity that empowers individuals with visual impairment through training, support, and counseling. Tamkeen provides select training courses designed to ensure work-readiness of its students with visual impairment. Tamkeen’s training courses include IT Training, Soft Skills, English Language Training and Corporate Staff Training.
