|Wellbeing Census Champion’s Registration|
KHDA has partnered with the Government of South Australia to conduct a student wellbeing census for all students in Grades 6, 7, 8 and 9 (Years 7, 8, 9 and 10) in Dubai schools.
This is supported by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, reflecting that:
“We will seek to create a society where our people’s happiness is paramount, by sustaining an environment in which they can truly flourish.”
We aim to find out how students feel and think about their own wellbeing, happiness, quality of life and engagement. The census is not a test and there are no right or wrong answers. The answers to each student’s questions will be kept confidential and the results will not be used to identify individuals.
Together with the schools of Dubai we are working to support and improve the wellbeing and happiness of students in our schools. We recognise that supporting and improving the wellbeing of our students will lead to students being able to achieve their full potential. A trial was conducted in May 2017 prior to the full implementation of the census this coming November.
